Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy position is available for experienced pharmacists with inpatient/ER and outpatient expertise in a hospital setting. This role requires versatility to work various shifts, including nights, days, swing, and weekends, averaging 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts. The assignment is based in Peridot, AZ, and suitable for travel or local candidates seeking contracts of 13+ weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily administrative pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with professional, regulatory, and government standards.
• Develop and monitor operational and financial metrics to support quality improvement initiatives.
• Establish and evaluate pharmacy policies and procedures for service effectiveness.
• Lead continuous process improvements proactively.
• Manage and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering professional growth and performance excellence.
• Optimize computer-based dispensing and information systems to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Direct purchasing and inventory controls to balance cost-effectiveness and timely pharmaceutical availability.
• Coordinate educational efforts to address staff learning needs and barriers.
• Prepare monthly operational reports identifying areas for improvement.
• Participate in orientation, training, and quality assurance programs.
• Maintain current competencies through departmental and hospital educational programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years professional pharmacy experience with at least two years in management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD with a one-year residency preferred.
• Current, active, and unrestricted pharmacy license; Arizona license preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to successfully pass background and drug screening.

System Experience:

• Proficiency with Scriptpro with SP200 Robot, RPMS Electronic Health Record with transition to a new EHR system.
