About the position Responsible for operating a router to produce specific components used in the fabrication of trade show exhibits, displays and related structures. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: Responsible for safely and efficiently operating router for the production of components Fabricates acrylic and wood model parts as well as acrylic vitrines (solvent joints), bent acrylic parts and polishing Review cut sheets to ensure material accuracy Load and run program, troubleshooting any issues. Responsible for complying to general safety, EPA, OSHA and Fire Safety regulations Maintain hand tools and equipment Provides ready to assemble components for production, complete with labeling Performs other duties in support of project requirements Non Essential Functions: Provides information for reports Functions as a member of project teams Skills and Qualifications 1+ year experience with CNC machine operating Knowledge of exhibit operations and production process Carpentry experience Crate fabrication experience Ability to read and understand complex shop drawings and specifications Good communication skills Time management skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and interface with all levels of the organization Proven ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, demanding environment Good math aptitude, understanding of engineering formulas Requirements Overtime as necessary Benefits MC offers a robust benefits package including: Medical (3 choices of plans), Dental (3 choices of plans), 401K, Vision, company paid Life Insurance, company paid Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Accident and Critical Illness Insurance—plus more.
