Addiction's CounselorProject Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy, and treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and professional full-time Addiction's Counselor to join our team in a male Level 3.5 setting! Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful independent living. Responsibilities include:Run OP / IOP substance use disorder groups.Complete substance use disorder assessments, treatment plans, group notes, and other clinical documentation under the supervision of an LCSW-C.Take part in a multi-disciplinary team to maintain excellent client care and treatment.Attain occasional trainings and maintain licensure requirements.Qualifications include:Active ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LMSW or LGPC license in the State of Maryland.At least 2 years' experience with a substance use disorder population.Computer literate and experience working in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.Possess sound judgment, professionalism, and compassion for client care.Excellent documentation and communication skills.Familiarity with DHMH / CARF requirements.Hours:Full TimeMonday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pmBenefits:Paid time off (PTO)Optional Medical / Dental / Vision insuranceOptional 401(K) plan with employer matchEmployer paid life insurancePaid holidaysAdditional benefits to be discussed during the interview processSalary:$52,000/yr. - $$65,000/yr.Salary varies upon licensure - please reach out to discuss details
