The role is focused on medical insurance collections for HCA Healthcare. Job Summary The Healthcare Insurance Collector performs account follow‑up and resolution of insurance and patient receivables to support HCA Healthcare’s revenue cycle. Responsibilities Work insurance pools and contact insurance companies to resolve claims that are not paid in a timely manner. Review EOBs, remits and payer correspondence, performing account follow‑up and escalating identified issues to the appropriate area for review. Identify problem accounts and appropriately escalate them. Maintain compliance with pool completion requirements. Meet required productivity and QA standards. Document actions taken in the patient account record. Work with patients and guarantors to resolve payer requests and discrepancies to promptly resolve pending claims. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year related experience required, preferably in healthcare (education may substitute for experience). Previous experience with insurance follow‑up is preferred. High‑speed internet required: 25 MB download / 15 MB upload (Wi‑Fi not permitted). Ability to work uninterrupted during the shift (excluding breaks and lunch). We are an equal opportunity employer.
