Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing clinical interviews, standardized assessments, and family input to evaluate individual needs. \n
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect a deep understanding of the patient’s developmental milestones and family dynamics. \n
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting techniques as necessary to address a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and behavioral challenges. \n
- Provide family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers with strategies to support their children’s mental health and well-being. \n
- Collaborate effectively with child psychiatrists, educational professionals, and other key stakeholders to create a holistic care approach, ensuring integrated treatment strategies. \n
- Respond to mental health crises with composed judgment, offering immediate support and intervention to ensure the safety and stability of the young individual involved. \n
- Educate young patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and local community resources to promote informed decision-making. \n
- Maintain meticulous, confidential records in accordance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and progress. \n
- Engage in regular team meetings, collaborate in case consultations, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with best practices. \n
- Maintain a compassionate, supportive demeanor that fosters trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and their families throughout the therapeutic process. \n
In this role, you will primarily focus on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral issues. Your work will support not only the individuals but also their families, creating a comprehensive support system for effective treatment.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Possession of a current and valid license, such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California. \n
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health therapy, particularly with a focus on child and adolescent populations. \n
- In-depth knowledge of various child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with a repertoire of evidence-based treatment modalities. \n
- Skills in delivering both individual and family therapy, with demonstrated effectiveness in engaging young clients. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, allowing for a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and a strong comfort level with technology to facilitate remote therapy. \n
- A collaborative mindset, eager to work as part of a multidisciplinary team devoted to improving mental health outcomes for young individuals. \n

- Previous experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, demonstrating adaptability to virtual communication and therapy delivery. \n
- Familiarity with current best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry and mental health interventions. \n
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds, enhancing the ability to relate to a broad range of clients. \n
The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
