Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• AS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: UPMC (SimplifyVMS) Direct Program and no current placement allowed at Program: UPMC (SimplifyVMS) Direct Program.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: ECMO experience preferred

Required Credentials: Completion of an accredited technical program is required. ARRT Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology or ARRT Certificate or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Echocardiograph and Ultrasound. Clinician’s may be eligible for an earlier start date if they have recent PA fingerprint results and PA Child Abuse Clearance Results (obtained within <5 years).

Preferred Credentials: Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Science preferred.

Unit/Facility Details: Assist the cardiologist in performing all aspects of invasive procedures including right heart monitoring, myoendocardial biopsies, left heart catherizations and interventional procedures.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• CI (Cardiac Interventional Radiography) or the alternative certification RCES
