Swiss CNC Lathe Machinist III | Precision Manufacturing | Full-Time

Location: Newbury Park, CA

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $25.76 - $35.00 per hour (DOE)

A leading precision manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Swiss CNC Lathe Machinist III to join its production team in Newbury Park, California.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who enjoys working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment producing precision components. If you have experience operating Swiss CNC lathes, performing quality inspections, and maintaining tight tolerances, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

•Operate and maintain Swiss CNC lathe machines and related equipment

•Load raw material into bar feeders

•Monitor machine performance and make tool offset adjustments using Fanuc CNC controls

•Perform visual and dimensional inspections using:

oMicrometers

oCalipers

oMahr gauges

oMicroscopes

•Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

•Remove chips and clean finished components

•Perform routine machine maintenance, including filling oil reservoirs and cleaning equipment

•Sharpen cutting tools using a diamond wheel grinder

•Record production data and operation logs accurately

•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

Required

•High school diploma or equivalent

•Minimum 2 years of machining experience

•Experience operating one or more of the following:

oCNC Swiss Lathe

oCNC Lathe

oMilling Machine

oDrill Press

oVertical or Horizontal Cut-Off Saw

•Ability to read and interpret blueprints

•Experience using precision measuring instruments

•Basic Microsoft Office skills

•Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

•Excellent work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills

Preferred

•Experience with Fanuc CNC Controllers

•Swiss-style CNC machining experience

•Experience in precision manufacturing or medical device manufacturing
