Information Technology Specialist (infosec)

You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist in the Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) Information Technology Department (N6) of NAVAVNFCSTCEN. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Experience exercising formal supervisory authority, including developing performance standards, evaluating civilian/military personnel, and managing a multi-tiered workforce through subordinate supervisors or team lead. Demonstrated experience chairing or serving as a key voting member on an IT Configuration Control Board (CCB) or similar IT governance body. Experience and practical knowledge of managing and integrating complex enterprise IT environments, specifically involving virtualized desktop infrastructure (VDI), Microsoft Exchange, and host-based security systems (HBSS). Experience developing and executing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs) to manage customer expectations and support package delivery. Experience and strategic knowledge of military/government C4 planning, IT modernization protocols, and cybersecurity frameworks.
