As part of our community health clinic, you will engage with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, dedicated to delivering comprehensive care that enhances patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct in-depth mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to identify the specific needs of clients.

  • Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that address their mental health goals, integrating cultural sensitivity in all aspects of care.

  • Provide a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in individual, couple, family, and group formats.

  • Deliver crisis intervention services when necessary, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate acute care and ensure continuity for clients in distress.

  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
  • \n
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and family members, equipping them with tools and strategies to manage their mental health effectively and promoting self-empowerment.

  • Engage in regular outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment modalities and make timely adjustments based on client feedback.

  • Stay abreast of current research and evolving best practices in mental health, integrating relevant findings into clinical work to enhance treatment quality.

  • Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all dealings related to patient information.

You will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges, from trauma-related issues to anxiety and depression. Qualifications\n

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to connect with clients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

  • At least two years of direct experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
  • \n
  • Experience in a community health clinic or similar setting is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
