As we continue expanding across the Mid-Atlantic region,we'relooking for experienced and dependable CDL Drivers to join our field teams and support the successful delivery of our civil construction projects.

Job Summary

Total CivilConstruction is seekingexperienced CDL Class A and BDrivers
tooperate
Sweeper Trucks, Dump Trucks, Dump Trailers, Vac Trucks, and other commercial trucks.This role requires flexibility, as work schedules may include
irregularhours, nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
based on project needs and weatherconditions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time deliveries while operating CMVs safely.

• Adhere to all DOT, state, and company regulations
  for operation.

• Maintainaccurate logs as per legal and company requirements.

• Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Ensure compliance with all safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications

1. Active Class A/B CDLs.
2. Valid DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).
3. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. This role is subject to federal and company drug/alcohol testing regulations.
4. Experienceoperatingcommercial motor vehicles (CMV) hauling materials is preferred. Position level and responsibilities will be assigned based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
5. Clean driving record (must meet company insurancerequirements).
6. Ability to pass a road test demonstrating CMV operation, pre/post-trip inspections, and load securing.
7. Strong knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety procedures (preferred).
8. Ability to adapt to unexpectedconditions (traffic, weather, etc.).

Physical Demands

This role requires:

• Continuous use of vision (close/distance/peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment).

• Manual dexterity and strength (use of hands, arms, and feet for equipment operation).

• Frequent standing, talking, and hearing.

• Lifting/moving up to 10 lbs.

• Occasional walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

Work Environment

Expect to work in:

• Outdoor job sites with exposure to varying weatherconditions.

• Construction zones with heavy equipmentand movingmechanical parts.

• Loud noise environments and occasional exposure to dust or fumes.
