Automotive Acquisition SpecialistCapital Chevrolet of Wake Forest is seeking a proactive, driven, and results-oriented Automotive Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team! This role is critical to maintaining a strong and diverse inventory by identifying, sourcing, and acquiring high-quality vehicles that meet customer demand and dealership goals.The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of automotive market trends and vehicle values, and enjoys building relationships while finding opportunities to grow inventory in a competitive market.What You'll Be DoingSource and acquire new and pre-owned vehicles through auctions, trade-ins, private sellers, and other acquisition channelsStay informed on market trends, pricing fluctuations, vehicle values, and consumer demand to support strategic purchasing decisionsAnalyze inventory needs and market data to identify acquisition opportunitiesInspect and evaluate vehicle condition to ensure purchases meet dealership quality standardsNegotiate pricing and terms with sellers to secure cost-effective vehicle acquisitionsCoordinate with inventory management and sales team to ensure seamless integration of acquired vehicles into inventory systemsMaintain accurate records and documentation related to vehicle purchases and acquisitionsBuild and maintain relationships with vendors, sellers, and industry partnersAssist with additional projects and responsibilities as assignedWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience as a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist or in a similar automotive role preferredStrong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skillsIn-depth understanding of the automotive market, including vehicle values and pricing trendsDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a focus on accuracyAbility to evaluate vehicle condition and identify potential concerns or issuesExperience using automotive inventory management systems and databases preferredAbility to work independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environmentValid driver's license with a clean driving recordMust successfully pass pre-employment background screeningsWhat We OfferCompetitive PayHealth InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) retirement planWhy Capital?Because great careers start with the right environment.Capital Auto Group is home to 1,500+ team members across 20 automotive and powersports franchises.
