Medical Scribe

Position Summary As a Medical Scribe, you are responsible for recording a Physician’s interactions with patients and assisting with clerical duties related to medical documentation. Duties include recording a Physician’s interactions with patients, filling out paperwork, summaries and referral letters after a visit and entering data into medical records. In this role, you will play a vital role supporting Agile’s health care providers so that patients can fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Description Position Summary As a Medical Scribe, you are responsible for recording a Physician’s interactions with patients and assisting with clerical duties related to medical documentation. Duties include recording a Physician’s interactions with patients, filling out paperwork, summaries and referral letters after a visit and entering data into medical records. In this role, you will play a vital role supporting Agile’s health care providers so that patients can fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Compensation: Starting compensation range is $22.00-$24.00 hourly. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Responsibilities Taking notes during patient visits and documenting them in the electronic health records system Learning about the medical process and using a team approach in patient supervision and documentation Working with a supervising Physician or Doctor to complete and submit medical records Communicating with patients and supervising Physicians professionally Completing all administrative tasks efficiently and helping the Physician take tests and give out medication Helping electronically prescribe medication for patients Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Computer skills required, including data entry skills and proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to ensure outstanding patient care Attention to detail and focus on accuracy Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems Previous work experience in occupational medicine clinic setting desired Benefits Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Excellent work-life balance with no required nights, weekends, or holidays Training provided to enhance occupational medicine knowledge and skills 401(k) plan with employer match Paid time off and company-paid holidays Why You Should Join Our Team Agile Occupational Medicine is a leading occupational medicine group with a network of 42 centers dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to businesses and their employees across California and Yuma, Arizona.
