About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: - Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 - First-timers accepted - Weekend shifts required every other week (6-8 shifts per contract) - Must float between like units, including pediatrics Description: This position offers an elevated seasonal winter rate. Rates will return to standard amounts on a specified date. Canceling due to a rate change after signature will result in a system do not return. Local radius restrictions apply. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:4. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates should have experience in emergency departments, particularly with trauma cases. Travel experience is a plus. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with a variety of emergency care skills, including but not limited to: - Arterial line management - Blood product administration - Care of ventilated patients - Central line care and management - Management of dysrhythmias The facility supports interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and rapid response teams. Daily patient census is approximately 185 with a total of 29 rooms. Candidates may be required to float between nearby facilities. References are required covering experience within the last three years. RTO must be included at the time of submission. Post-submission RTO may not be considered. Travelers should be flexible with the contracted schedule and RTO requests.
