Quality Engineer - Drivetrain Assembly (Recent Graduates Welcome)

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in production support, continuous improvement, and data-driven problem solving. This role offers an immersive, hands-on environment where you will spend roughly 60% of your day on the factory floor collaborating with technicians and engineers.

Your Responsibilities:

• Production Support: Provide real-time support on the assembly floor for containment, inspections, and monitoring critical processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Support operations teams to ensure product quality meets and exceeds customer expectations.
• Data & Problem Solving: Analyze manufacturing data and KPIs using a "No Fault Forward" framework to drive corrective actions.
• Factory Mobility: Safely utilize indoor factory utility vehicles (Gators) to transport parts, tools, or computers across our connected facility.

What We Are Looking For (Entry-Level Welcomed):

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Agricultural, or related technical discipline). Recent grads are highly encouraged to apply!
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment. (Relevant hands-on senior capstone projects or internships are highly valued).
• Skills: Classroom exposure or basic understanding of quality tools such as GD&T, FMEAs, Statistical Process Control (SPC), or Root Cause Analysis (5W, 8D).
• Traits: A hands-on mentality, excellent communication skills, and the adaptability to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details & Requirements:

• Schedule: 1st shift (6:30 am – 3:30 pm) - Overtime possible.
• Type: 24-month contract; May extend; 100% Onsite.
• Visa Sponsorship: Not available now or in the future.
• Physical: Position will spend roughly 60% of the day on the shop floor on your feet. xhyhwjd May lift up to 20 lbs. Must wear metatarsal footwear from day one.
• Travel: May occasionally drive a personal vehicle to other facilities within a 20-mile radius.
