About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for IT and AI Governance. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the enterprise technology governance function, ensuring that the IT and AI governance frameworks are in line with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards. This pivotal role involves overseeing IT and AI governance, model risk alignment, technology risk management, and regulatory compliance. The AVP will also be responsible for embedding AI governance into various programs, maintaining AI risk taxonomy, and serving as a key control function in the safe and compliant use of technology, particularly in the context of emerging AI and generative AI capabilities. Applicants for this role at The Company should possess a strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and standards, proficiency in IT governance, risk, and compliance tools, and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity principles. The position requires excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in IT governance, risk management, or a related field, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
