For more information, visit As a Full-Time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health , you'll provide high-quality care to client employees at our health center in Saint Joseph, Missouri . Enjoy a predictable Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM schedule with no nights, weekends, or major holidays , allowing for an excellent work-life balance. In this role, you'll deliver occupational health services, health screenings, injury and illness care, wellness initiatives, and health education while building meaningful relationships with employees. What You’ll Do Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.) Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practice Delivers evidence-based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and client Implements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workers Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision) Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care Collaborates with healthcare professionals and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury prevention Assists with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiatives Performs other duties as assigned What You’ll Bring Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services At least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic Experience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including: partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return to work exams Premise offers full-time team members benefits including medical dental vision life and disability insurance 401(k) program with company match paid holidays and vacation time a company-sponsored wellness program EAP access to virtual primary care and virtual behavioral health at no cost for team members and their dependents Additional benefits can be viewed here: Premise is an equal opportunity employer; we value inclusion and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, ethnicity, sex (including pregnancy and related conditions), gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental disability, genetic information, past, current or prospective service in the uniformed services, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law. #J-18808-Ljbffr PREMISE HEALTH
