Payroll Coordinator – Full Time | Parlin, NJ | $27 - $35/hr + Full Benefits A strong, established, and growing food manufacturing company is hiring NOW. The organization supports over 125 employees at this location and seeks a sharp HR Payroll Specialist who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. What You Get: $27 - $35/hr based on experience Medical, Dental, Vision, and voluntary insurance plans 401K with company match and Profit Sharing Paid Time Off (Vacation and Sick) 6 Paid Holidays A stable, tenured leadership team that supports your success What You Will Do: Process weekly payroll for both Union and Non-Union employees with accuracy and compliance Manage all aspects of employee benefits including new hire enrollment, qualifying life event changes, payroll deductions, and open enrollment support Handle onboarding of new hires, terminations, and all employee data management Coordinate recruiting activities including scheduling and pre‑employment verifications Track union employee progression increases and maintain up‑to‑date compliance records Manage workers compensation claims from start to finish Reconcile and process monthly invoices including ADP, health, dental, vision, voluntary plans, and union‑related billing Generate reports including month‑end reporting, union headcount, census data, and ad hoc requests Ensure proper COBRA notifications and enrollments for eligible employees and dependents Collaborate with IT to set up new hire system access Support the HR team with administrative duties across the broader business What We Need: 3 to 5 years of payroll experience Proficiency with ADP Payroll systems, Workforce Now preferred Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently Strong verbal and written communication skills High level of discretion when handling confidential information Sound judgment and the ability to make decisions with confidence Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus Associate degree preferred but not required MOHR Talent is an equal‑opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
