Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center that features modern equipment designed to help patients recover from physical impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and needs, followed by setting measurable goals and creating individualized treatment plans in alignment with physician directives.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions and modalities, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to maximize patient recovery and functionality.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes, ensuring all documentation supports necessary reimbursement and reflects the skilled therapeutic interventions provided.

• Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, enhancing the quality of care delivered and ensuring adherence to established protocols.

• Actively engage with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and mental health specialists, to create integrated treatment plans that address both physical and psychological aspects of patient health.

• Assess the effectiveness of treatment methods and adapt strategies as needed, ensuring optimal use of resources and personnel for patient benefit.

• Contribute to departmental meetings by providing insights and suggestions to enhance clinical practice standards, patient care pathways, and team dynamics.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from individuals recovering from surgeries and injuries to those managing chronic conditions affecting their mobility and quality of life. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
