The journey begins here - with Global- a 1st Flagship Company, where we are currently looking for a Safety, Environmental and Hazardous Material Tech II to join our team.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the facility's hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage and disposal, including operating the Hazardous Waste Accumulation Area.Assists with annual vessel and facility Workplace Hazard Inspections. Assists with or conducts daily waterfront inspections for personnel and environmental hazards.Responsible for the facility's hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage and disposal, including operating the Hazardous Waste Accumulation Area.Responsible for remediation of identified asbestos and non-asbestos discrepancies, spills, or releases.All other duties assigned.Qualifications:Two (2) years of education/experience with hazardous materials or relevant experience in the military.Must be medically qualified and able to wear a negative pressure respirator.Must have a valid state driver's license and be eligible to operate company/government vehicles.Security Clearance:Position requires a Trusted Agent Security Clearance.Must be a US Citizen per Inactive Shipoff Instruction 5500.3B of May 13Global- a 1st Flagship Company is an E-Verify and is an equal opportunity employer.
