Responsibilities Provide and coordinate patient care as a Medical Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to support patients and families. Perform daily assessments and reassessments, develop individualized plans of care, administer medication, document care, provide education, and maintain equipment properly. Perform patient rounding to maximize patient satisfaction and quality standards. Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care across ages per Scope of Service. Promote customer service initiatives. Utilize the nursing process for individualized care to meet patients' needs. Perform technical skills and procedures as required by the role. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of med/surg experience. Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Current licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing or another acceptable Board of Nursing. Current BLS certification.
