- 10 days on, 10 days off rotation -- 7 am start/end times
- Hotel call coverage -- must arrive to OR within 20 minutes
- Level II nursery and inpatient pediatrics coverage
- 100% nursery and pediatric patient population
- 200 births per year -- fewer than 10 pediatric admissions per year
- Intubation, umbilical line placement, and circumcisions required
- NRP certification required
- Ongoing coverage pattern beyond initial assignment
