Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient, safe, and productive handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This role involves managing a team of warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing process improvements to optimize warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Supervision: Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. Operations Management: Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. Inventory Control: Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular stock audits. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation processes. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and accuracy within the warehouse. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems. Quality Control: Ensure all products meet quality standards and address any discrepancies or issues promptly. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and other warehouse activities. Prepare reports for management as needed. Customer Service: Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. Working Conditions This position operates in a manufacturing facility where employees are exposed to various environmental factors, including but not limited to noise, dust, odors, and temperature fluctuations. The role may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required in designated areas.
