Our client, a leader in manufacturing and metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator- 1st Shift
Location: HIGHLAND, NY
Pay Range: $18.00-$20.00/hr
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm)
No Friday's Saturdays or Sundays !!
What's the Job?
- Operate a variety of machines including sheet metal punching, forming, drilling, tapping, cutting, bending, and sanding.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Interface with other departments to accomplish production tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
What's Needed?
- Preferably with machine shop experience and familiarity with manufacturing and power tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Steel or composite toe work boots.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in metal fabrication or machine operation.
