Marketing Manager - Franchise Development (Lakewood)

CMK Resources is seeking a Marketing Manager, Franchise Development to support a growing, multi-brand franchise organization in the business services industry. This direct-hire position is based in Lakewood, Colorado, and will follow a hybrid work model.

This role will own the franchise development marketing strategy across multiple established brands, with a primary focus on generating qualified leads from prospective franchise owners and investors. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded, hands-on marketer who can develop the strategy, direct agency partners, analyze performance, and personally execute campaigns, content, messaging, and nurture programs.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and execute an integrated, full-funnel marketing strategy to attract qualified prospective franchise owners and investors.
• Build campaigns across paid media, organic search, email, content, landing pages, public relations, events, webinars, franchise portals, and other lead-generation channels.
• Create differentiated positioning, messaging, and campaigns for multiple franchise brands and prospective-owner profiles.
• Manage outside agency partners, including developing briefs, setting priorities, reviewing recommendations, managing deliverables, and holding partners accountable for results.
• Evaluate performance across Google Search, Performance Max, LinkedIn, Meta, retargeting, and other digital channels.
• Create and refine email copy, nurture campaigns, landing-page content, advertisements, presentations, and franchise sales materials.
• Partner closely with Franchise Development sales to improve lead quality, routing, follow-up, pipeline velocity, and conversion.
• Develop and optimize the prospective-owner journey from initial awareness through inquiry, nurture, qualification, and sales handoff.
• Track and report on lead volume, cost per lead, lead quality, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and marketing ROI.
• Identify public relations, media, partnership, event, and brand-awareness opportunities that support franchise growth.
• Manage multiple campaigns, brands, stakeholders, and deadlines while maintaining consistent processes and reporting.
• Remain personally involved in execution while leveraging resources from the broader marketing organization and outside partners.

What We Are Looking For

• Approximately 5–7 or more years of integrated marketing, demand generation, growth marketing, or franchise marketing experience.
• Experience generating leads for prospective franchise owners, investors, business owners, dealers, members, partners, or another high-consideration B2B audience.
• Strong understanding of full-funnel lead generation, including paid media, email nurture, content, landing pages, conversion optimization, and sales handoff.
• Experience managing outside media, creative, digital, or public relations agencies.
• Ability to analyze campaign performance independently and determine strategic actions rather than relying entirely on an agency for recommendations.
• Working knowledge of Google Ads, Performance Max, LinkedIn Ads, Meta, retargeting, and digital campaign measurement.
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable systems.
• Strong writing skills across email, campaign messaging, advertising, content, presentations, and sales-enablement materials.
• Experience partnering with sales teams on lead quality, pipeline performance, follow-up, and conversion.
• Ability to think strategically while remaining comfortable with hands-on execution.
• Experience supporting multiple brands, locations, markets, or independently operated businesses is strongly preferred.
• Direct franchise development marketing experience, including franchise portals, broker networks, franchise sales funnels, or investor marketing, is highly preferred.
