Hourly Pay Rate: $58.96


Job Description:
Primary location: assignment is PMC but MUST be willing to float to Main campus OR as staffing needs require.
SHIFT: DAYS 6:30AM - 5:00PM (4x10s)
START: 05/18/2026
RATE: $88/hour (Agency pay rate, paid via VHS)

Job Requirements:

• Education/Skills: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Experience: 1 year of related nursing experience preferred
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
  • BLS Certification via AHA
  • ACLS Certification via AHA
• Work Schedule: 4 days a week, 10 hours per day
• Work Type: Full-time
• Weekend Requirement: No, but volunteer to pick up call at Main campus if desired
• Floating Requirement: Must be willing to float to Main campus or other locations as needed

Summary:
The competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to focus on long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to manage contingencies in clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers to help manage the clinical situation, ensuring quality patient care.


Responsibilities:

• Meet expectations of applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their practice level
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers; identify issues and resources
