SALARY: $16.47/hour

Sampson Area Transportation is seeking a part-time Administrative Office Assistant to provide general clerical, administrative, and customer service support for the department. This position helps address client needs by serving as the first point of contact for the general public.

In this role, you will:

• Welcome visitors at the front desk
• Answer incoming client calls and direct calls as appropriate
• Receive and respond to general inquiries and service requests
• Receive, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
• Operate a variety of standard office equipment
• Maintain vital office records

A high school diploma and previous office experience are required for all applicants. A valid driver's license for the State of North Carolina is also required.

Work hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM; hours may vary based on staff availability.
