Travel RN - Detox Unit

Location: Pulaski, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7-10 days to start, with weekly orientation on Mondays. Position requires the ability to work every other weekend and as needed.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for our Detox Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care within detox environments, and must be available to start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance. Responsibilities include providing care to patients dealing with substance abuse and related behavioral conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care to individuals aged 18 to geriatric.
• Perform bedside shift reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with IV access and basic bedside procedures.
• Administer medications as prescribed, including valium tapers and rescue medications.
• Participate in team meetings and adhere to departmental expectations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of ASN; RN licensure in Tennessee required.
• Experience in detox or related fields preferred (3+ years acceptable; 5+ years preferred).
• Certifications needed: BLS, ALS, PALS. Handle with Care training to be completed post-hire.
• Must pass a check against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date.
