Transmission Line Engineer

To support the design of the nation's energy infrastructure, the full-time Transmission Line Engineer will lead projects involving high-voltage systems, utilizing PLS-CADD for engineering analysis and ensuring compliance with industry standards, with hybrid and remote work options available. Key responsibilities Engineer overhead and underground transmission systems, ensuring design excellence and compliance with relevant standards Manage projects from conceptual design through to construction-ready packages, including material procurement Apply advanced modeling techniques to address site-specific challenges and mentor junior engineers in senior or lead roles Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering with relevant experience in electric utility transmission system design Expert-level knowledge of PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software Familiarity with NESC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE codes 2+ years of experience for mid-level, 4+ years for senior-level, and 8+ years with a PE license for lead-level positions Experience with advanced modeling tools such as LPILE and FAD is a plus
