AssemblerJoin a dynamic manufacturing team in Stoughton, WI as an Assembler where you'll contribute to the efficient assembly of trailer components. This role offers the opportunity to develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality.Assembler Responsibilities:Operate various hand and power tools including drills, rivet guns, impact wrenches, grinders, and tape measures to assemble trailer partsPrepare and clean metal surfaces using solvents and other specified methodsCaulk seams and joints on trailer components to ensure quality sealsDrill through aluminum, steel, and wood materials as needed according to blueprintsAssemble sub-assemblies such as hoses, axles, wiring harnesses, and doorPosition and fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fastenersMeasure and mark layouts based on blueprints for precise assemblyOperate overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts after proper trainingFollow GMPs and safety protocols consistently throughout shiftMaintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiencyRequirements for Assembler:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently with team assistanceAbility to stand, walk, twist, turn, push, and pull for the duration of the shiftGood hand-eye coordination and dexterityBasic math skills and the ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in EnglishWillingness to work on second shift, totaling 40 hours per weekPrior experience is not required; training will be providedQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
