Position: Occupational Therapist

Salary: $37-$39.50/hour

Schedule: 35 hours per week, Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs with no weekend rotation

Facility: 110 bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at our 110 bed Skilled Nursing Facility. In this role, you will work closely with patients to help them regain their independence and improve their quality of life. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities

- Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals

- Implement treatment plans through a variety of therapeutic activities and exercises

- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to improve daily functioning

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Provide guidance and support to Occupational Therapy Assistants and other staff members

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in Occupational Therapy to provide the best possible care for patients

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a SNF or similar setting preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
