We are representing a UHNW Atherton family in seeking an exceptional, highly experienced, and self-sufficient Estate Manager to oversee a dynamic household and manage a multi-property portfolio (including a main residence in Atherton and residences in Montana, Florida, Nantucket and several others on the East Coast. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who takes complete ownership of outcomes. You will handle everything from high-level vendor management and large-scale event production to daily family logistics and calendar optimization. The ideal candidate can anticipate needs, build a plan, communicate and execute. Experience Requirements 5+ years of private estate management and experience working with high-net-worth families with multiple properties Educational Requirements College Degree and proficient in Google Suite, Apple IOS systems Qualifications You are entirely self-sufficient. You know how to assess a situation, build an execution plan, and deliver results without requiring micro-management You know exactly what questions to ask and when to ask them to ensure total alignment with the family’s preferences Ability to manage bi-coastal property logistics efficiently. Able to travel if needed You remain calm under pressure, pivot quickly when plans change, and resourcefully handle unexpected household or logistical issues A hands-on manager who thrives both behind a computer managing logistics and on the ground executing events and checking property details Able to seamlessly manage a household which includes two principals and their 5 adult children when they visit and stay at multiple residences. Responsibilities Manage and communicate with other existing property management to ensure the readiness of other estates prior to family's arrival (ensuring HVAC/AC systems, vehicles, garage doors, and provisioning are fully operational). Source competitive quotes, manage estimates, and oversee vendors for upcoming house projects. E.g. roof cleaning and estate maintenance. Set up and facilitate contractor meetings. Stay ahead of automotive needs, scheduling routine and ensuring all vehicles are running smoothly Lead the planning and execution of large on-site gatherings (e.g., a 60-person round-table event), including sourcing and managing high-end caterers, designing menu options, and arranging rentals (tables, chairs, linens). Coordinate smaller dinner parties from guest list management to full catering and service execution Maintain and synchronize the master family calendar, ensuring seamless coordination of personal appointments (e.g., medical/eye appointments), sports schedules, and travel Coordinate travel logistics including private plane bookings, managing multiple schedules and securing hotel reservations and transportation if needed Oversee premium daily tasks (e.g., high-end wardrobe/suit pickup in SF) and arrange trusted, high-quality care for the family dog during travel periods #J-18808-Ljbffr Aunt Ann’s In-House Staffing
