General Surgeon

Role Overview As a General Surgeon at Cedar City Hospital, you will practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside experienced surgeons. You will maintain a balanced mix of clinic and operating room time while delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care across a broad range of general surgery conditions. You will coordinate pre‑ and post‑operative care and utilize a full range of surgical approaches, including minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as traditional methods. Responsibilities Typical schedule includes two clinic days and two OR days per week. Shared call coverage with expectations dependent on team size. Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery. ACGME‑accredited residency training in General Surgery. Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one. Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process. Location Intermountain Health Cedar City Hospital, Cedar City, Utah. Schedule: 40 hours per week.
