Production Supervisor – 2nd & 3rd ShiftLocation: Elizabethtown, KY Industry: Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturing Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually Additional Compensation: Eligible for straight-time pay for hours worked over 45 per week Shifts Available: 2nd Shift & 3rd ShiftPosition OverviewHoran Hiring Solutions is seeking experienced Off-Shift Production Supervisors for a well-established Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.This facility specializes in heavy metal stamping and the production of structural components and frames for Ford trucks.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive manufacturing, experience overseeing multiple production lines, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily production operations across multiple manufacturing lines during second or third shift.Lead, train, and develop production employees to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved.Monitor production schedules, staffing levels, and equipment performance to meet customer demands.Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.Work closely with maintenance, quality, and engineering departments to address production challenges.Monitor production metrics, including efficiency, scrap, downtime, and overall equipment performance.Manage employee attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions when necessary.Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.Communicate production updates, operational concerns, and shift performance to plant leadership.QualificationsPrevious production supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred, particularly within a Tier 1 supplier.Experience managing multiple production lines in a high-volume manufacturing facility.Background in metal stamping, heavy fabrication, or automotive structural components highly desirable.Previous experience working in a union manufacturing environment is a plus.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold employees accountable.Understanding of production scheduling, manufacturing KPIs, and continuous improvement practices.Ability to troubleshoot production challenges and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Must be comfortable working second or third shift.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $65,000–$75,000, depending on experience.Additional Pay: Eligible for straight-time compensation for hours worked beyond 45 per week.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within a large automotive manufacturing operation.Competitive benefits package.Why Consider This Opportunity?This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on production leader looking to advance their career within a high-volume Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment.The company is seeking supervisors who can take ownership of their shifts, manage multiple production lines, and drive results while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and employee development.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply or contact Horan Hiring Solutions for additional information.
