Senior Project Consultant - Development

JobTitle: Senior Project Consultant – Development Location: Newtown Square, PA Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Consultant – Development at our Newtown Square, PA location to design and develop systems, applications, products, services and data to optimize/automate SAP’s business processes and improve work efficiency. Expectations and Tasks: Engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements. Perform complex data and system development along with technology integration through learned technology coding languages. Ensure stable, secure, performance and high availability operations for and between system and cloud services. Facilitate agile engagement with the business. Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation. Deliver outcomes of assigned projects; work independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility. Enhance complex systems/processes. Represent SAP to customers. Communicate clear and convey processes & policies in a way that others can understand. Advocate for the end user by having a deep understanding of end user needs, behaviors & usage patterns. Provide expert support in operations. Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation. Facilitate the service lifecycle and product lifecycle. Education and Occupational Experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Qualifications/Skills and Competencies – Experience: Experience must involve four (4) years in the following: Performing Process Management and Project Management; Understanding of software development cycle, defining technical requirements, and collaborating with development teams; Agile software delivery process and DevOps implementation; Performing Data analysis, insight development, and data interpretation; Business & technical requirements gathering & prioritization. Experience must involve two (2) years in the following: Budgeting, cost analysis, forecasting, and ROI evaluation; Utilizing BI tools including SAC and PowerBI in productized reporting; Database Management & Data Engineering including Data Modeling, ETL processes, and SQL proficiency; SAP Cloud Suite Portfolio (BTP and RISE/GROW with SAP). Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $153,358–$195,976. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step towards demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $153,358–$222,700. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
