About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Nursing License - South Carolina or Compact Certifications: BLS, Clienttion Badge Must-Have: Experience in Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology preferred. Description: Position available for an Ambulatory Operating Room Registered Nurse. Shifts available are 3x12 or 4x10 hours per week. Working hours are 06:30 to 17:00. No weekend shifts are required. On-call requirement is not applicable. Possibility of floating within the perioperative facility. Block schedules may be accommodated at the manager's discretion. Certification requirements include South Carolina or Compact RN License and BLS. A radiation badge must be provided by the parent company. The facility has a total of 9 operating rooms. Travel experience is required. Travelers may need to precept a care team member in the operating room. Daily responsibilities include managing various surgical procedures. Ability to handle cases in multiple specialties is essential. A strong emphasis is placed on infection control and patient safety. The position demands knowledge of various surgical equipment and protocols. Additional support services include pharmacy, radiology, and respiratory services. Interdisciplinary collaboration is encouraged to ensure high-quality patient care. Candidates should be aware of emergency response team assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Candidates will be considered on a non-local basis first. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered at a lower rate.
