Travel RN – Labor and Delivery

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit with patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and hysterectomy procedures
• Operate and monitor Baxter Pumps and Philips electronic fetal monitoring equipment
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR and Fetal Ink systems
• Provide immediate newborn care and manage high-risk obstetric patients
• Float to related units including MFMU, MOMB, and NICU as needed and upon approval

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric experience required
• Demonstrated competency in immediate newborn care
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Circulating experience in Labor and Delivery procedures
• Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
