Join Our Team as a Line Cook at Picnic in Durham, NC!
Are you passionate about cooking and creating delicious meals? Picnic, a beloved restaurant in Durham, NC, is looking for dedicated and skilled Line Cooks to join our team. If you have a love for food, a strong work ethic, and at least one year of experience in the kitchen, we’d love to hear from you!
What You'll Be DoingAs a Line Cook at Picnic, you’ll play a vital role in crafting the dishes that keep our guests coming back for more. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking menu items with precision and consistency.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.
- Following recipes and presentation standards to deliver high-quality dishes.
- Assisting with inventory management and food storage.
We’re seeking candidates who bring skill, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the kitchen. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment.
- Team Player: Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and communicates effectively.
- Time Management: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines during service.
- Passion for Food: A genuine love for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences.
