Preschool Martial Arts Instructor

Overview Amazing Athletes is seeking a part-time Preschool Martial Arts instructor for our Karate Zoo program. The program teaches the FUNdamentals, and as long as you love working with kids, this could be the job for you. Responsibilities Lead and teach the Karate Zoo program to children aged 3 to 6 years at preschools/daycares and parks and recreation centers. Deliver classes using the provided curriculum and participate in training to get up to speed quickly. Provide individual attention to help each child succeed in a non-competitive, fun, and stress-free environment using positive reinforcement. Be open-minded and view coaching Karate as a continuous learning journey. Ensure safety and age-appropriate instruction during all activities. Assist with setup and use of all provided equipment and uniforms to support effective coaching. Qualifications Reliable, energetic, vibrant, and loves teaching and coaching children. Own reliable transportation and a valid driver\'s license (must travel to different locations). Experience working with kids or in martial arts is preferred; enthusiasm and a vibrant personality are important. Details New coaches can work 10-20 hours per week and earn from $15-$22/hour plus bonuses. Locations include early childhood settings such as preschools and child care agencies, public and private elementary schools, and local parks, recreation departments, and community centers. Coaches are expected to travel an average of 20 minutes to each class location. Classes are held on weekdays in the morning and evening, with some Saturday morning hours.
