This is a 13-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please apply now!Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – House Supervisor (Long-Term Care)Location: Newark, NY 14513Duration: 13 WeeksShift: Nights (combination of 3 x 8-hour shifts and 1 x 12-hour shift per week)Shift Times: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, or 11:00 PM – 7:00 AMGuaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/WeekFacility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care / RehabilitationPatient Population: GeriatricsEMR: EpicResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Provide clinical leadership and supervision for nursing staff during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysCoordinate patient flow and oversee nursing operations across multiple long-term care unitsServe as the clinical resource for nurses and interdisciplinary team membersSupervise resident admissions, transfers, discharges, and changes in conditionRespond to emergencies, code situations, and behavioral incidents while ensuring resident safetyEnsure compliance with infection control standards, regulatory requirements, and facility policiesPerform incident investigations, documentation, and follow-up as appropriateSupport staffing coordination, scheduling, and resource allocationCollaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacy, social services, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality resident careMaintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR and promote quality improvement initiativesTo be considered for this position, you should have:Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) programActive New York RN License (required at the time of submission)BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent)Minimum 2 years of House Supervisor or RN Supervisor experience in LTC, Skilled Nursing, LTAC, or similar healthcare settingPrevious Charge Nurse experience requiredEpic charting experience requiredStrong leadership, staffing coordination, and clinical decision-making skillsExperience supervising nursing care across multiple unitsKnowledge of infection control, HIPAA, OSHA, DPH, and regulatory complianceExperience with admissions, incident reporting, emergency response, IV therapy, PICC line management, and resident care coordinationExcellent communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and team leadership skillsTryfacta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
