They are staffed with experienced inside sales professionals who use a consultative and relationship-building approach to selling appliances. ADU is seeking a reliable and motivated full-time Appliance Install Assistant to support our installation team. This is a hands-on role where you will assist with delivering, handling, and installing luxury appliances in residential and commercial settings. This position is based out of our Easton, MD showroom and supports projects across the Eastern Shore and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, pays close attention to detail, and ensures every customer interaction reflects high standards of professionalism. Requirements Valid driver\'s license required with an acceptable driving record Dot (or the ability to obtain one upon hire) Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check, consistent with applicable laws Ability to safely assist and perform installations of various high-end kitchen appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washing machines, dryers, and more. From time to time, handle and transport large appliances safely and securely Ability to lift and move heavy appliances up to 100 lbs independently Push, pull, lift, and move loads up to 1,000 pounds with assistance (using straps, dollies, and team support) Load/unload appliances from trucks Maintain a professional and clean work environment Interact professionally with customers and team members Performs other related duties as assigned High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Demands Frequent standing, walking, stooping, climbing, and crouching Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions Ability to perform heavy lifting and maneuver large appliances Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime (OT) may be required based on the project demands and based on business needs What We\'re Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on trade 1-2 years of experience with appliance installation or related field is a plus Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand and power tools Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of the team Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Good communication and customer service skills Commits to exceeding expectations and delivers the highest level of customer service Pay: $18.00-$25.00 (based on experience) Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance (eligible after 60-days full time employment) 401(k) retirement plan with a company match up to 4% (eligible after 6 months) Paid time off accrued (PTO) (eligible after 90-days 40 hour weekly Paid holidays after 90 days, including: New Year\'s Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day & the day after Christmas Day & the day after #J-18808-Ljbffr
