Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic respiratory therapy team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients, including both pediatric and adult populations, in a tertiary, teaching hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy interventions for various patient groups including NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and adults in critical care.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic and diagnostic equipment such as Drager and Hamilton ventilators.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
• Participate in care planning and execute treatment plans based on patients' needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of respiratory therapy experience in an acute care setting.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• NRP certification required for NICU.
• Active and valid RRT credential.
• Previous experience in a Level 1 trauma center is highly preferred.
