Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist Needed

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Luray, VA. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment and care for patients with breathing disorders across the inpatient setting, including pediatric emergency unit coverage. Applicants must include current Virginia license or license status and required certifications with their submission.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current Virginia respiratory therapist license in good standing, or documented license status.
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience across all ages, including pediatric (PEDS) experience and PEDS ER exposure.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA), NRP.
• Experience with inpatient respiratory therapy and EMR systems (EPIC preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a hospital setting with inpatient respiratory services.
• Familiarity with facility dress code practices and scrub color expectations.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:45 19:15 (three 12.5-hour shifts).
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
• Weekend and holiday requirement: every third weekend and possible holidays.
• Willingness to pick up extra shifts for vacations and staffing needs, including days or nights.
• On-call: none.
