Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• 2 years of CST experience
• Experience with orthopedic trauma
• Experience with after-hours/on-call cases including trauma, ER C-sections, and emergency general cases
• Experience in general surgery, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, GYN, and orthopedic cases
• National certification through NCCT or NBSTSA

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: 0630-1500 daily
• Shift days: Monday through Friday
• Weekend rotation: on call only
• Call required: 1 shift per week and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks
• Weekday call hours: after 1500 to 0630
• Weekend call hours: Friday 1500 to Monday 0630 for emergent cases only
• Call back time: 30 minutes
• Holiday expectations: on call only
