Overnight Guest Safety Ambassador

Job Description The Overnight Guest Safety Ambassador is responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of colleagues, guests, and visitors as an integral part of our operations. The role requires attentiveness, efficiency, and commitment to maintain a safe and enjoyable workplace and travel destination. Responsibilities Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service. Ensure the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, colleagues, and hotel premises. Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding to fires, accidents, safety concerns, and medical assistance calls. Investigate and report any violations of law or hotel policy. Respond to all emergency situations and provide First Aid and CPR as required. Identify and report fire hazards or health and safety hazards. Report and investigate accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations. Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts, and crowd control. Conduct departmental key control audits and maintain key control records. Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report. Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way. Follow department policies, procedures, and service standards. Follow all safety policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in a security role is required. Relevant security experience in a luxury hotel environment is required. Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications is required. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required. Must possess a professional presentation. Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities. Highly responsible and reliable. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team. Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times. Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture, and set the scene for high performance. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Guard Card License – desirable, not required. CPR Certification – required; must obtain within 90 days of employment. Benefits Hourly rate: $35.98 (overnight differential included).
