Location Downtown Los Angeles, CA Work Arrangement 100% On-Site Employment Type Full-Time Salary Range $100,000 - $200,000+ DOE Experience Level Associate Attorney through Senior Attorney About The Opportunity A well-established plaintiff-side litigation firm in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking Workers' Compensation Attorneys at multiple experience levels to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who are passionate about representing injured workers and want to handle meaningful cases from intake through litigation and resolution. The firm is open to Associates through Senior-Level Attorneys and will tailor responsibilities and compensation based on experience. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters from inception through resolution. Represent injured workers in hearings, depositions, conferences, mediations, and other proceedings. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents. Evaluate claims, medical records, liability issues, and potential case value. Develop case strategies and negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers. Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and expectations. Prepare cases for trial and aggressively advocate for clients when necessary. Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to effectively manage cases. Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, and documentation. Qualifications Associate Attorneys California Bar admission in good standing. Workers' compensation experience preferred; strong litigation experience will also be considered. Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters. Mid-Level & Senior Attorneys California Bar admission in good standing. Demonstrated experience handling workers' compensation litigation. Ability to independently manage a caseload and represent clients throughout the litigation process. Strong deposition, hearing, negotiation, and litigation skills. Proven ability to develop case strategy and effectively advocate for clients. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a motivated plaintiff-side attorney who is client-focused, litigation-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of their cases .
