Research Development Partnerships Analyst

Role Overview The Research Development Partnerships Analyst 2 plays a central role in supporting and advancing the Department of Emergency Medicine’s research program through grants, partnerships, and program development activities. Working closely with the Vice Chair of Research and other departmental research leaders, this position contributes to the strategic growth of the department’s research enterprise by providing high-quality administrative, analytical, and coordination support across a diverse portfolio of sponsored projects. Responsibilities Grant Submission Preparation (50%) – Supports research faculty with department-level preparation of grant applications to ensure timely submission. Drafts documents, coordinates activities with sponsors, investigators, and departmental staff, and delivers complete application packages to OSU College of Medicine grants management and Office of Sponsored Programs. Post-Award Activities (30%) – Initiates department-level post-award activities such as requests for MOUs, DUAs, MTAs with collaborators and consultants, purchase service initiation, and other operational support. Participation in Research Projects (5%) – Assists with select research projects, including pilot studies or efforts that support grant applications. Program Development (5%) – Engages in program development activities, including tracking metrics, developing website content, and academic events and activities. Professional Development (5%) – Attends departmental meetings, participates in continued professional development, and completes required institutional educational activities. Additional Activities (5%) – Performs other activities to support the ongoing research development within the department as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required; 2-4 years preferred.
