Position: CT Technologist

Shift:

Night Shift - 3x12 Hours (Friday to Sunday, 18:00 - 06:30)

Location:

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for evening and weekend shifts. The successful candidate will work independently after midnight, providing care to emergency department patients and inpatients. There will be no scheduled outpatient procedures during this shift.

Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans on patients as per established protocols.
Administer contrast media and prepare patients for CT procedures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
Review and analyze images for quality and completeness.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

Current Washington Radiological Technologist Certification required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT technology.
Certification in BLS and ARRT required.
Proficient in using EPIC charting system.
Experience with 3D rendering techniques and various CT examinations.

Skills:

3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering).
Experience with various types of scans including abdomen, chest, etc.
Familiarity with equipment from GE and Siemens.
Ability to start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media.

Patient Care Details:

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, in a facility with a daily census of approximately 240 patients. The candidate will also be supported by an interdisciplinary team.

Additional Information:

Preferred candidates should be willing to float within the hospital based on patient care needs. Orientation will include completion of required modules to ensure readiness for the role.
