This individual is responsible for hauling agricultural commodities to our customers in a timely manner. The schedule for this position is M-F with overtime as needed during the busy seasons.Join our team today!ResponsibilitiesOperate a semi-tractor and trailer and or straight truck to deliver products to customers in the area in a safe and timely manner. Load and unload product as required, including connecting and disconnecting trailers for product transfer, and follow safety protocols for handling productsPrepare and complete delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports; record accurate electronic logs.Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries and maintain positive customer interactionsDrive in accordance with DOT regulations, company policies, and compliance requirementsPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and report maintenance, safety, or equipment concerns promptly. Perform interior maintenance and upkeep as needed.Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and equipment issues; follow requiredProvide informal guidance and support to fellow drivers as needed regarding routes, equipment operation, and safety practicesPerform other duties as assigned by manager. Additional maintenance, cleaning, and operational tasks as neededMinimum Qualifications (required)Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)Have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experienceMust meet age requirementAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishDemonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accuratelyAdditional QualificationsDemonstrate the ability to operate independently in a high-skill driving role, including managing complex routes or delivery requirementsDemonstrated safe-driving performance and ability to make sound safety decisions in changing weather and road conditionsStrong customer service skills and a history of positive customer feedbackAbility to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
