Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure the highest quality and consistency of dishes served.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following health and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to manage and expedite orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving supplies.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving items.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
