Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class E box truck to transport goods to various locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively.
• Assist with routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class E driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Proven experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred.

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.

• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
